About

Meet Monica Diaz

Hi, I’m Monica Diaz, owner of Notaries of South Florida. I’m originally from New York City, and for the past seven years, I’ve been proud to call Fort Lauderdale home.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me taking a walk around my neighborhood or enjoying a quiet moment by the beach with my family.

Before becoming a notary, I spent over 16 years in real estate and insurance, where I developed a deep respect for accuracy, professionalism, and trust all qualities that naturally carried into my notary career. About two years ago, I became a Notary Public and later added Remote Online Notarization so I could serve clients locally and nationwide.

A big influence in my notary journey has been the dynamic Melina Fuenmayor, who taught me the importance of combining professionalism with genuine care. Her mentorship helped me grow not only in skill as a Notary Signing Agent but also in courage and confidence and keep moving forward with purpose. Most importantly, she reminded me that this work is never about us, it’s about the client. Every signing is their moment, their document, their peace of mind, and I strive to keep that at the heart of everything I do.

One of the most challenging signings I’ve handled was for a young couple going through a divorce. The atmosphere was emotional, and I knew I had to balance professionalism with compassion. I guided them calmly through each document, gave them space when needed, and kept the process smooth and respectful. It reminded me that being a notary isn’t just about stamps and signatures, it’s about helping people through life’s transitions with understanding and grace.

I approach every appointment with the same mindset: professionalism guided by heart. Whether meeting someone at their home, office, or online, my goal is to make the process comfortable, clear, and handled with genuine kindness.
